MiniLink Merge

SpanTech’s MiniLink conveyor can be used to easily merge multiple lanes of product into a single lane. Using the simple principle of distance traveled, a MiniLink system can reliably accomplish the merge without the use of PLCs, sensors, transfers, or automation controls of any kind.

Product Merge

Multiple methods can be used to merge conveyed product. The application seen here utilizes varying conveyor lengths and speeds to merge multiple incoming lanes into a single discharge lane. Mechanical stops are used to stage the product in an aligned row, after which it is released onto four conveyors of different lengths. The speeds of these conveyors are controlled so that the products are automatically merged onto the discharge conveyor in the correct single-lane orientation. Gravity roller bridges assist in the transfer.
